The Albany Theatre, Douglas Way, Deptford, London SE8 4AG


The stage will consist of a truss provided by Pammie Cameron (Trusstus) approx 6m x 3m x 4m.  There will be two 45mm fixed poles, these can be set to static or spin, more detailed specifications will be shared with finalists when they are chosen.

Audience seating will be tiered (as shown above). The venue has a bar and cafe onsite with a range of options for various dietary requirements and there will be a selection of stalls selling polewear brands on the day.


The Albany is a 2 minute walk from Deptford Station, and an 8 minute walk from New Cross Station, with multiple bus routes passing and a nearby DLR stop.

There is free street parking on Watson Street and Octavius Street, limited disabled parking to the rear of the building plus blue badge holder spaces in Frankham Street car park. The Albany is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
