Filthy Friday began as a simple Instagram hashtag and is now a worldwide movement within the poledance community. Blackstage Pole is an events company that exists to centre pole dancers of colour, particularly those with intersecting identities, so those who are also Trans, Queer, disabled, low-income, sex workers, or plus-sized. Blackstage currently runs workshops, talks and a big annual professional pole show. Blackstage operates with accessibility, inclusivity and ethical wages at its core and has a strong focus on decolonising pole by reshaping the way the pole industry interacts with race, Queerness, sex work, and wages. I understand how nervewracking photoshoots can be and because of that, my aim is to create a comfortable and safe environment your photoshoot.
Based in Inverkeithing, Fife, my studio is located less than 30 minutes by train from Scotland's stunning Edinburgh city.
